Child Safety & CSAE/CSAM Standards

FlashProtest has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We prohibit any content or behavior that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or harms minors.

What's Prohibited

The following are not allowed on FlashProtest (including in livestreams, chat, usernames, profile content, thumbnails, links, or any other user-generated content):

  • CSAM/CSAE: Any sexual content involving minors, including images, video, audio, text, illustrations, or links to such material.
  • Grooming or sexual exploitation: Any attempt to sexualize or solicit a minor, facilitate exploitation, or encourage sexual activity with a minor.
  • Child trafficking or exploitation-related content: Any content that promotes, facilitates, or depicts exploitation of minors.
  • Requests for CSAM or sexual content involving minors: Including "jokes," roleplay, or coded language intended to solicit CSAM.
  • Content that endangers minors: Including doxxing, targeting, coercion, threats, or instructions that put minors at risk.

We also prohibit other harmful content such as harassment, hate, sexual violence, threats, incitement to violence, and illegal activity.

Reporting CSAM/CSAE and Other Safety Issues

If you see content or behavior that may involve CSAM/CSAE or child exploitation, report it immediately.

In the app:

Tap Report on the stream or user and select "Child sexual abuse/exploitation (CSAE)".

Include (if possible): stream link, username, date/time, screenshots, and any relevant details.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services right away.

Enforcement and Response

When we receive a report or become aware of CSAM/CSAE:

  • We remove the content as quickly as possible (when feasible).
  • We may suspend or permanently ban involved accounts.
  • We preserve relevant information as needed for safety and legal compliance.
  • Where required or appropriate, we may report CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or appropriate law enforcement authorities.

Moderation and Prevention

We use a combination of:

  • User reporting tools
  • Human review and enforcement actions
  • Technical and operational measures intended to reduce abuse and respond to reports quickly
